How to Apply

Transform your furniture and surfaces effortlessly with d-c-fix® Self-Adhesive Film. Follow these steps for a smooth and professional finish:

1. Prepare the Surface - Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from dust or grease. Use a mild detergent if necessary and allow it to dry completely.

2. Measure and Cut - Measure the area you wish to cover and cut the film to size, leaving a slight overhang for adjustments. Use a ruler and a sharp utility knife or scissors for precise cuts.

3. Peel and Stick - Gradually peel away the backing paper, starting from one edge. Align the film with your surface and press it down gently as you go, smoothing out any air bubbles with a squeegee or soft cloth.

4. Smooth Out Bubbles - Work from the center outward to remove any trapped air. For stubborn bubbles, gently lift the film and reapply, or prick the bubble with a pin and smooth it out.

5. Trim Excess Film - Once applied, trim any excess film using a sharp utility knife for a clean edge.

6. Finishing Touches - For curved surfaces or edges, use a hairdryer on a low setting to gently warm the film, making it more pliable. Carefully stretch and press the film into place, ensuring a snug fit.
